Hair Services

at Crush Studio

Every service here starts with a consultation, and we do not rush it. Your stylist wants to know three things. What you want, what your hair is actually doing right now, and how much time you honestly have for it at home.

That last one matters more than people expect. A look you love in the chair is worth nothing if it takes 40 minutes a morning you do not have. So we talk it through, we tell you the truth, and then we get to work.

Every haircut includes a wash and a finish unless the booking says otherwise.

We will never do a service at the expense of your hair’s health.

Short Haircut

For hair sitting above the ears or at the nape of the neck. A clean cut, built around how you actually wear it. Your stylist talks through length, shape, and how sharp you want the edges before anything happens. If you want the same cut you always get, say so and we will get it right. If you are open to a change, we will tell you honestly what would suit your hair and your face.

Add a beard trim and we will make the two work together, so the line of the beard sits right with the line of the cut.

Who it is for: Anyone with short hair who wants a cut that holds its shape between visits.

Starting price: $45. See starting prices.

Long Haircut

For hair past the shoulders. A cut should fit the person, not the picture. Your stylist starts by looking at how your hair grows, where it falls, and how you wear it on a normal day. Then you talk about what you want. Sometimes those two things line up right away. Sometimes we adjust the plan together so the shape works with your hair instead of fighting it every morning.

Then we wash, cut, and finish, and we show you how to get it looking the same way at home. If a style needs product or a technique to hold, we will tell you, and we will show you how.

Who it is for: Anyone with longer hair who wants a cut shaped around their hair and their routine.

Starting price:  $75. See starting prices.

Curly and textured haircuts

Come in with your hair worn the way you normally wear it. That sounds small, but it is the single most useful thing you can do. We need to see your real curl pattern, where it clumps, where it falls flat, and how it behaves on its own before we decide where the weight should come out.

Your stylist cuts with your curl rather than against it, and talks you through what will happen as it dries and settles over the next few days. You will leave knowing how to wash it, how to dry it, and when to come back.

Who it is for: Curly, coily, wavy, and textured hair worn natural.

Color is where honesty matters most. Before we mix anything, your stylist will ask what your hair has been through. Box dye, previous lightening, a color that did not take, anything at all. None of it is a problem. All of it changes the plan.

Then we will tell you what is achievable in one visit and what will take more than one. Going significantly lighter often takes several appointments to do without wrecking your hair, and we would rather say that up front than halfway through.

We will also talk about upkeep before you commit, because the right color for you is the one you can actually maintain.

Single process color

One even shade through the hair, or clean grey coverage at the root. The starting price covers up to one inch of regrowth at the root. Coloring the whole head is a different price, because it depends on what your hair needs, so a consultation comes first. Your stylist mixes a formula for your hair rather than pulling a standard shade off the shelf, and matches it to your skin tone as much as your hair. If you are covering grey, we will talk about how quickly your roots show and set a rhythm that keeps you looking fresh without living in the salon.

Starting Price:  $75. See starting prices.

Highlights

Foils or balayage placed through your hair to create brightness. Where they go matters as much as how many. Your stylist places them around your cut and your face, so the light lands where it flatters you rather than in a stripe across the back of your head.

Highlights grow out softer than an all-over color, and they let you build brightness gradually over a few visits instead of jumping all at once.

Gloss and toner

A gloss completes the tone at the end of a color service. Booked on its own, it evens out anything that has gone brassy or dull and puts a real shine back on the surface of the hair. It takes very little time and makes a surprising difference.

Add it to a color appointment to finish the work, or book it on its own between visits to stretch your color a few more weeks.

Beard trims and shaping

A beard is a shape, the same as a haircut. Your stylist cleans up the lines at the cheek and the neck, evens out the length, and shapes the whole thing to balance your face rather than just making it shorter.

Pair it with a cut and the two get planned together, so nothing fights anything else.

Deep conditioning treatments

Hair takes a beating. Heat, color, sun, hard water, and winter radiators all pull moisture out of it. A deep conditioning treatment puts that moisture back, smooths the surface so it reflects light again, and helps color hold on longer.

Your stylist matches the treatment to what your hair actually needs rather than reaching for the same jar every time. It slots easily into a cut or color appointment, and it is the cheapest way to make everything else you do look better.

Keratin Smoothing Treatment

Lasio or Brazilian Blowout. A smoothing treatment that cuts frizz and smooths the cuticle by building a protective protein layer around the hair. It lasts for months and makes mornings faster. Your stylist will tell you at the consultation whether your hair is a good fit.

Starting price: $250.   See starting prices

Scalp balancing treatment

A dry, oily, or itchy scalp usually means buildup or a barrier that is out of balance. This treatment clears what is sitting on the scalp and settles it down, so the hair that grows from it has a better start. Book it on its own or add it to a cut.

Priced at your consultation.

Hair Regrowth Treatment

For thinning or shedding that has gone on longer than a season. It starts with a scalp evaluation, so we know what we are treating. Then your stylist builds a plan of in-salon treatments and home care, and tells you plainly what to expect and how long it takes. If what we see needs a doctor, we say so.

Silver enhancement treatment

Silver and grey hair picks up yellow from water, sun, and product. This treatment removes that yellow pigment and brings the silver back to a clean, bright tone. Book it on its own or add it to a cut.
